FAQs - Coaching Information
Do you coach online?
Yes, sessions are available either online via Zoom, or face-to-face.
How do I book a free consultation?
Do I have to decide anything at the free consultation?
Not at all, there is no sales pitch or pressure to work with me. I might not even be your best option and I will advise if this is the case during or after our meeting. I will encourage you to think about possibly working together before committing.
What if I miss or cancel the free consultation?
If you do not turn up for the free consultation, or cancel it with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged £50 for another consultation.
Where are your face-to-face sessions held?
Face-to-face mindset coaching sessions are held in my office at 7 Brunswick Square, Hove, BN3 1EG UK.
What are the costs and how do I pay?
My coaching can truly be life-transforming. It is an investment of money, time and effort in yourself to make huge improvements in your life. The exact cost depends on the coaching package that you decide on. We will discuss the best package for you and the pricing during the free consultation. Each client also has the option of a free 10-20 minute call with me per week.
Payments are made via direct bank transfer. They can be paid in 1-3 instalments, and coaching can be classed as a business expense.
How many sessions will I need?
At first, many clients have six sessions over six weeks. For some clients, this is all they need to get the result they want. For others, more sessions are more suitable depending on their personal situation, and these can be 3 months (14 weeks) or 6 months (26 weeks). I will recommend a course of action in the free consultation, but the choice is ultimately yours.
My main focus for every client is to develop confidence using the strategies given during the sessions. The more confidence gained, the less I am needed, which is the best news I can hear because it means we have been successful with your programme! Traditional talking therapy does not centre practical solutions, and so often lasts for months or years.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions can be 50-60 minutes long, 90 minutes, or 2 hours, depending on the coaching package you choose, what suits you and what fits in with your diary.
How do I book paid sessions?
You will be sent a Calendly invite and be able to book sessions in your own time. All sessions must be paid for in advance.
By agreeing to have sessions with me you also agree for me to contact you by email, text or phone.
When are you available?
I see individual clients on Mondays to Thursdays. I work from 12.30pm to 2pm and from 4pm to 6.30pm.
What if I need to cancel or rearrange a session?
When an appointment is made, you will receive an email confirmation, and further reminders via email or text as the appointment approaches.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let me know asap. You will be charged 50% of a normal session if you reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice.
If you are ill, please let me know as soon as possible for me to rearrange your slot. Please send me options for alternative dates and times when requesting a change in your booked session.
If you are running late, please let me know. I will wait 10 minutes for you and then close the appointment if I don’t hear from you.
How can I get the most out of a session with you?
- Have water to hand, tissues, and a pen and some paper handy to make notes.
- Avoid being too caffeinated for a session as this can make it difficult to do some mental exercises.
- If we are meeting online, try to be in a private space where you won’t be interrupted.
- Make sure your wifi signal is strong. However, if there are any tech issues, we will work around them, possibly continuing the session by phone.
- I advise you to wear earphones to prevent feedback. ( I can hear myself coming through some speakers)
- Please give me honest feedback about the sessions and your progress! It helps me to know what is working for you and what isn’t, and aid any doubts you may have.
Is what I say in the session confidential?
Absolutely. Your notes are not shared with anyone. In the rare event that I need help with your case from another coach, your personal details are not shared. Even if a partner or family member has referred you to me, I do not share any information about you to them.
My privacy notice can be read here.
Can you give medical advice?
I am not a physician and cannot advise you medically. If I suspect you need extra help in combination with your coaching, I will advise you to speak to your GP.
